A couple of weeks ago, Border’s Books chose Knockemstiff as one of their Original Voices for the fall/winter, and I can’t thank them enough for that!
On October 28th, I’ll be at a luncheon at the Columbus Club in Columbus, Ohio, reading and talking to some good people who donate to United Way.
On Saturday, November 1st, I’ll be at the Cincinnati Book Festival, and I think I’m on a panel discussing the short story.
On November 8th, I’ll be at an arts and craft bazaar at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (33 E. Main Street, Chillicothe, Ohio) from 9 am until 4 PM. I’ll be selling and signing books.
I just did a small piece for The Huffington Post (October 17) on Joe the Plumber (“An Open Letter to Joe the Plumber from Don the Factory Worker”).
NEW BOOKS THAT EVERYONE WHO LOVES FICTION SHOULD BE PAYING ATTENTION TO: Kyle Minor’s In the Devil’s Territory, Keith Lee Morris’ The Dart League King, Erin McGraw’s The Seamstress of Hollywood Boulevard, and Ron Rash’s Serena.
One last thing: I’ve been having computer problems again, so if you emailed me last week and didn’t get a response, please email me again. Eric Shade, that means you, for one! Sorry!
